I got this fabulous collection from Jillibean Soup from Cicci at DESIGN in PAPERS. She said it was so me and she was so right. It’s really cool with lots of current patterns like circuit boards, social media icons and other nice stuff. I made two cards with it as a start. The first one was inspired by a book cover I saw on Pinterest with different colors crossing and blending. I weaved strips of patterned papers in the same way and sewed them down.
I made a black banner going down one of the sides and since the patterns were so busy I just put some little stars as embellishment.
The second card I used the icon-paper as backround for and made a tag with a greeting cut out with the cameo. I used an old embossing ink pad to cover it with, it makes some of the embossing powder fall of and makes a really cool pattern.
I used some stickers that came with the collections as embellisments and just the same kind of stars as on the other card. I love these new stars from Studio Calico, the shape is somehow nicer than the old version and the outline-stars are so cute!
That’s all from me today. Thanks for stopping by!
