I love coloring images. I’ve been known to try out all kinds of mediums. I’ve been trying Pro Markers, Tombow, distress ink, inktense pencils and Copics. Probably some more too... I never tried the kind of pencils you blend with solvents like odourless mineral spirits though, but I always thought it looked kind of fun. Then I saw some youtube videos where they were using the new Spectrum Noir blendable pencils. It looked like so much fun! I was super happy when I got the chance to borrow all five sets from DESIGN in PAPERS to try them out. They are awesome, I really really like them! I haven’t had the chance to try them together with Copics yet but I think it might be fun too.
So, the other weekend I went to a crop on beautiful island Orust whith some scrappy friends. I had a great time, I love to go away to scrap a full day or two some times. I even won a challange, I’m so happy that people liked my card <3 But it was not this card, I got this Saturated Canary stamp from one of the shops at the crop. She reminds me of my daughter and I just had to have her! I colored this image at home after unpacking. I used the Spectrum Noir pens, I’m very happy with the result!
And now it’s friday afternoon and I just about done with my latest school assignment. Happy times! Also, I wanted to wish all of my american friends a very happy July 4th. I hope you all have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by. See you soon :)
