Morning sun

We have had a wonderful long weekend with lots of sun around here. It was so nice I totally forgot to blog in advance as I usually do. So here are my Hobbyworld inspiration for today, a bit later than usual.

I’ve been digging in my stash and wanted to use Clipping from Basic Grey again. I am nuts about that collection, it is one of my favourites! I picked some papers in different shades of green and made an ombre background for my photo. I cut messy by hand to give some extra texture and sewed the papers to the cardstock with golden thread.

For decoration I used some thread, stickers and a really great punch from Martha Stewart. You can punch the whole scalloped circle or this scalloped frame (and get a plain circle as a bonus) as I did. Love how useful it is!

I used some vellum to back my photo with and are really happy how it turned out. It looks a bit dreamy.

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
