Getting inky, art journaling

A while ago I got this Art Journal sent to me from Lotta at En liten butik. The ones in the DT who felt like it could make anything in it before sending it on to the next person. I got a bit nervous at first but then I just had some fun, getting messy. I actually really liked what it turned out to be.

The first page is really colorful and with some embossed details.

The second page I made with distress ink and it is very soft with some gold splatters and golden thread in the background. I just pinted some random text with my dymo and concidered it done.

I had a lot of fun and can understand why people like it. But I’ll probably not start an art journal myself anyday soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
