Winnie & Walters one year celebration part 3

Here is my card for the shaker card challenge at Winnie & Walter. I love making shaker cards, this turned out a bit different. I really just stamped the triangle border stamps from a W&W set to see what I could come up wth and tried to cut out the triangles with my craft knife. I thought it would be fun windows for the card. Since I was talking on the phone while making it I made some mistakes. I forgot to adhere the plastic for one of the windows before adding foam. Doh! I fixed that and went on filling the shaker and adding the backing. Then I realised I just stamped the greeting on the front, nothing more. It was just plain white and boring. Doh! I took some watercolors and painted it and the colors were kind of cute. But the front got all wonky and I almost melted the plastic in one of the windows when trying to dry it with the heat tool. Doh! I was ready to toss the whole thing but when looking at it I went from "a-5-year-old-made-this" to "someone-artsy-might-have-made-this". I decided to take all my OCD-tendencies and ignore them and embrace the artsy me instead.

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
