Winnie & Walters one year celebration part 4

Here is a card for the color challenge at Winnie & Walter, using blue, aqua, silver and white. The silver doesn't show up that well on the picture but it's around the chevron and the blue confetti. I always get blinded by the bold sentiments in the big and bold sets forgetting the pretty font of the small stamps in the set. I think I will use just the smaller stamps more often, you can build some useful sentiments with just them too.

I am terrible at making one layer cards (this does actually have three layers) because I love dimension and all my one layer cards look kind of plain. I resisted the urge to pop something up deciding I should stick to the stamping and not embellish. It still looks done, so I'm happy :)

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)

  1. This card is so fun! I love the way you outlined the chevrons w/silver, and focused on the smaller sentiments in the set. Cool! Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge… :)
