Neon and black

I made a couple of cards to show on the ABNH facebook page. I had a bit of a craving for neons for a while so I dusted off the Hero Arts Neon Inks that I keep forgetting I have since they are the tiny cubes and won't fit in my regular ink storage. I used some different sets of Hero Arts stamps and made this card first. I'm giving it to my husband today because him and me… Oh yeah! ;) I hope that will make up for the fact that he has to drive me to the airport early this morning and I'll be gone for four days leaving him at home with the kids (one of them having chicken pox) and the dogs while I'll be having fun in Birmingham. It's neon, that has to count for something, right?

I made this at the same time. I seem to collect typewriter stamps. I don't know why, I rarely use them. But they are so pretty! And I love the klicking of the keys. Aaaaanyways, I was not as pleased with this card as I was with the other just because the color-scribble stamp I used for the background was a bit too small compared to the typewriter. But it improved by adding the paperclip and therefore I kept it. And the typewriter is really cute!

Thats it for today. I hope you have a great valentines day with someone you love or by your awesome self. Or with kids, small pox and dogs (darling, that is you <3). Take care!

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)

Make my day, leave a comment :)
