Winnie & Walter WCMD challenges part 1

Maya Isaksson Winnie Walter cardmakingday15

I love taking part in Winnie & Walters challenges for WCMD, I think I did them all last year and I'm aiming for that this year too. I've done two so far starting with the MasterBoard background building challenge. I used some of their floral stamps to make a pretty colorful background. I tried a technique of watercoloring I learned in the latest OCC class, probably something everyone already knows but I never tried it before. Instead of trying to blend the watercolors you build up layers for shading. I really like how this turned out. I had problem with the lighting when taking the pictures today, it usually come out really good but not so much tis time even though the weather was good and I used the same spot. I guess it's getting darker now.

Anyways, I used all Winnie & Walter material on this card and am very happy with it. You can find the challenge here. I'll be right back with another card using the rest of the MasterBoard for the watercolor challenge.

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
