Thank you penguins and deer

I forgot to post my Design in Papers creation this week on my own blog so here it comes, just a bit late. This year we are class parents for my daughters class. I was in charge of buying a present for their teacher and of course I made a card too. I thought the kids would like this card full of penguins and deer. I colored it with my Spectrum Noirs and added some Sparkle pens too to make it a bit more fun.

The feet and beaks of the penguins got some glossy accent too. The text strip says thank you in Swedish. I hope she'll like it.

I will be back with a long blog post full of christmas cards as soon as I get a moment to spare. It's a lot this time of year, and I have a hard time getting some spare time to do non DT posts too. But I'll get it upp soon I hope ;)

Have a great weekend and I'll be back soon!

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
