Sea you soon

Maya Isaksson Lawn Fawn mermaid card

I just love the latest release by Lawn Fawn, there was so many sets of dies and stamps that I need. A few got to move in with me. Ok more than a few. But not enough, I'll probably get some more at a later time ;) Anyways. I made a card with mermaids on a golden background. I just played with my Spectrum Noir AquaTints and was making a full background to see how opaque the gold paint was. Pretty opaque it turned out. I put my mermaids on it and kept it as it was, I just splattered som silver ink on it to make bubbles. The fish are painted with silver AquaTints.

I colored the mermaids with Spectrum Noir markers and added Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens for extra shimmer.

So it's very shimmery and glittery and pretty. I used WOW Atlantic sea spray for embossing the sentiment, because it amused me. And it's also super pretty ;) This was my creation for Design in Papers this week. Sea you soon again ;)

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards and coloring. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)
