I made this shaker card with Lawn Fawns Faery Christmas. I have been playing a lot with the ColourBlend pencils lately and I have discovered that I really enjoy putting down a simple layer of Spectrum Noir markers and then do shading with the ColourBlend pencils. For this card I gave no line coloring a new try, I really like the look but I've had such a hard time to get it to look good. With this technique it was so much easier!

I really loved Jennifer Macguires trick on how to suspend some things in a shaker card and still let them move around a bit, by using thread behind the image. I didn't have any clear thread so I used a gold thread. I don't mind the thread being a bit visible. I had to do some card surgery because after putting it all together one of the fairies looked like she was about to crash land, but I managed to save it using a tweezer and some curses. ;)

SN Markers: CR2, CR10, FS1, HB1, EB2, BT3, IB1, IB2, IG4, IG5, IG7, LY1, EB3, EB8, TN5, GB9
ColourBlend Pencils: Pink Violet, Peach, Raspberry, Seafoam, Verdigris, Mulberry, Cider, Coconut, Bark.
Spectrum Sparkle pen: Clear Overlay
Stamps by: Lawn Fawn.

I would love it if you joined the fun for this month! Have fun and see you soon again. Remember there is still time to comment on any of my five Leading Lady posts for Winnie & Walter to be in the drawing for a gift card in the Winnie & Walter webshop. A winner will be picked on Saturday. I can't give an exact time for the announcement because I'm at an event and will do it when i have a moment but as long as you don't see the announcement post you can still leave comments and have the chance to win. Good luck!

If it's crafty I have probably tried it. Or plan to try it tomorrow. I love to be creative in all ways, but I tend to gravitate to making cards, coloring and diecutting. I also have a bad yarn shopping.... ehm... KNITTING... habit. I live in Sweden with my husband, two cute minions (also known as kids) and three dogs. I work from home at a small international development company during the days, and craft while listening to audio books or follow my favourite series at nights and on weekends. I love it when I don't have to leave the house, being an introvert and socially awkward and all. That's why my slippers to shoe ratio is close to 1:1 and I'm not ashamed to admit it ;)

Make my day, leave a comment :)
